MercaSID strengthens its international presence with participation in the National Supermarket Association’s Trade Show 2024

MercaSID, a Dominican company, part of the Grupo SID business conglomerate, had an outstanding participation in the “Trade Show 2024” of the National Supermarket Association of the United States (NSA) held on August 14 and 15, at the Meadowlands Expo Center, 355 Plaza Drive, Secaucus, New Jersey. The NSA International Sales & Trade Show is a trade show held annually to strengthen relationships and new business in the corporate sector, and is organized by the National Supermarket Association of the United States. This trade organization represents the interests of independent supermarket owners, and has more than 600 supermarkets in the eastern United States. Dominican-owned supermarkets comprise a market that moves more than US$10 billion annually, creating opportunities for the export market. In this edition, MercaSID presented its Crisol product portfolio, including its Vegetable, Corn, Canola and Balance oil varieties, all of which have strong export potential and a solid presence at the fair. Roberto Bonetti Pastoriza, Corporate Vice President of Export and Investment, and Mariel López, Corporate Export Manager, represented MercaSID. Samuel Collado, president of the National Association of Supermarkets, headed the fair, along with its main members.
