MercaSID 2026 Operations Leaders Meeting Strengthens Efficiency, Safety, and Operational Alignment

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. MercaSID held its 2026 Operations Leaders Meeting, a forum designed to strengthen team alignment, share strategic priorities, and advance toward increasingly efficient, safe, and results-oriented operational management.

During the meeting, Operations Leaders worked on aligning common objectives, purposes, and goals, reaffirming the importance of maintaining a shared vision that allows them to respond effectively to the challenges and opportunities of each plant.

As part of the meeting, a work plan was presented for each plant, designed to organize the main lines of action, strengthen planning, and continue driving improvements that contribute to a more connected and excellence-oriented operation.

A new application for report management was also unveiled, which will allow for more efficient recording of unsafe conditions and acts. This tool seeks to strengthen the culture of prevention, facilitate the timely identification of risks, and contribute to building increasingly safer work environments.
